Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting. and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalms 100: 4-5 At the time of writing this update we are currently in Dar es Salaam on our journey back to N Ireland. We had made arrangements to stay in Dar several days early to give us the necessary time to have our PCR covid-19 tests done and have the results in time for flying. It was announced on the 18th March that travellers arriving into N.Ireland no longer need to have the tests. We praise the Lord for this as this reduces the costs in traveling and all the extra hassle. As we had already booked early, we decided just to leave Kazima as planned to avoid any additional costs to change flights etc.
By the time you receive this update, Lord willing, we will already be in N Ireland. Work continued extremely well on the replacement building this past month. The roof was completed and the timber framework to support the ceilings has also been completed. All the materials are also in place to enable Kalala to continue with the plastering work in our absence. Please pray for Margaret and the team as they have a lot of extra responsibilities. Continue to pray for the children that they remain healthy. We praise the Lord for these 6 weeks back in N Ireland to see family and friends, and recharge as it were. We are already fully booked with deputation meetings and look forward to renewing fellowship and providing an update on the work here in Tanzania.
If you would like to hear/see us in person, please contact Rhonda for a list of our deputation itinerary. We will be blessed and encouraged to see you. Here is another group photo. We hope you can make out their names and ages. This group are all in Primary 1 and get the school bus at 7am each morning (Monday to Friday) returning around 4.30pm. Then it’s time for homework! Continue to pray for the Church at Ndevelwa. The Lord is blessing. Precious souls are putting their trust in the Saviour and being baptised. The numbers attending each week are increasing. The new mid-week meeting is also well attended. Pray for Pastor Jerry and Rachel as they continue to minister there. Looking forward to seeing many of you over this next month Continually thanking the Lord for you, for your prayers and support for the work here in Tanzania. Love in Christ, John & Pauline
